What is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)?
MAT refers to the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies. MAT provides a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders (SUDs).

Opioids include codeine, fentanyl, heroin, hydro-codone (Vicodin), hydro-morphone (Dilaudid), morphine, and oxycodone (OxyContin) Drugs.com‍ ‍
