Adult Developmental Home

An Adult Developmental Home (ADH) is the private home of an individual who is licensed to provide direct care and supervision. These ADHs have services and supports to meet the physical and emotional needs of individuals on a 24-hour basis. Each ADH has a capacity of one, two or three people. The services provided in the ADH may include: personal care, habilitation, and transportation. Individuals in an ADH usually work or attend day programs in the community during the day.

The Arizona Dept of Economic Security has a division called the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). DDD has an office called the Office of Licensing, Certification and Regulation (OLCR). The OLCR gives a license to (approve) the home so that the home can be an ADH. source‍ ‍

Public Fiduciary, Gila County

If a person is developmentally delayed, and if that person does not have a family member to care for and make legal decisions for her/him, that person might have a case manager from the Gila County Public Fiduciary office.

Note from Lisa: Think of ‘Public Fiduciary’ as a job title. Gila county has a mayor, a sheriff, and a public fiduciary. The person working the job might change, but the job title remains the same.

The Public Fiduciary is Tiffany Poarch.
The Deputy Fiduciary is Laura Short.
