Lions Clubs International is an international service organization. It is currently headquartered in Illinois. As of January 2020, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.4 million members in more than 200 geographic areas around the world.

Local Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and many other programs.

What kind of help? 

• Globe Lions Club will pay for an eye exam at Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Globe  

• Globe Lions Club will pay up to $140 for glasses
  (If the frames and lenses cost more than $140, then the person/ parents must pay the additional cost)

Yes, the Lions can help pay for both eye exams and glasses
Done on an individual basis. They go to Phoenix for testing.
