The Low Income Housing Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program. LIHEAP is operated by the Arizona Dept of Economic Security (DES). LIHEAP helps qualified (low income) households pay their heating and cooling bills.
Household may receive:
Up to $640 per year as a standard LIHEAP benefit
Up to $500 for those experiencing an energy crisis.
LIHEAP can help your household with:
Catching up on current and past-due energy bills
Paying utility deposits
