Fair Housing
The goal of the Fair Housing Act, enacted as part of the 1968 Civil Rights Act, is to eliminate discrimination. Arizona law protects your right to have a place to live and makes it unlawful for any person to discriminate in connection with housing.

Section 8 Housing
Section 8 of the Housing Act of 1937 is commonly known as Section 8. It provides rental housing assistance to low-income households in the United States by paying private landlords on behalf of these tenants. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) oversees Section 8 programs, which are administered locally by public housing agencies. source

Short-term Rentals
Copper Miners’ Rest Bed & Breakfast

Decades ago, it was a boarding house for miners. Up until 2024, it was a bed and breakfast. It was a lower-priced option than most of the local motels. Renters had their own room, and shared a kitchen and bathroom at the end of the hall.
